Arizmendi Kirol Elkartea-Sport Club


Arizmendi sport club is an association that was created to encourage all students to practice sport and so foster healthy habits. The club collaborates with other spots associations from the valley and is open to any interested people.

Sports and activities which organises:


It is the first indoor soccer school of Gipuzkoa. Its objective is to encourage students to play it and have healthy habits. At the same time, it promotes the basque language into the sport and count on well­prepared professionals. It is currently a reference in Gipuzkoa.


It is the only Volleyball team in the valley. Its members are girls and any interested person in the sport can join the team.


Anyone who wants to play football has the chance to do so in the Arizmendi sport club. Students of all ages play here, girls and boys. Basque is the language used.


It is a competition created to encourage sport, especially women’s football.The main teams of Euskal Herria take part, the elite female football of the Basque Country;  Real Sociedad S.A., Athletic Club y Osasuna C.F. Such clubs also play against the regional team DEBAGOIENAi n the main championship. Many women take part, up to 240 players between 8­14 years old.


In this sport, the sport club Arizmendi’s offer is wide and covers Aretxabaleta, Arrasate and Eskoriatza. In addition, students who practise it are able to participate in the school tournament  of Gipuzkoa. Students can also try to improve their performance together with Aloña Mendi Kirol Elkartea in Oñati, thus taking part in different swimming championships.


With the help of a trainer, students have the chance to enjoy the mountain and train at the same time for the Junior mountain race Trail of Aizkorri­Zegama.


This sport activity is carried out in association with the AKE Squiash (Arrasate sport club). Any member of Arizmendi Ikastola will be able to practice this activity, which offers a flexible timetable.
